We are delighted to feature one of our best friend’s proposals that happened during our 12-day Turkey adventure trip. The holiday was nothing short of great bonding, laced with sweet, subtle moments.

When Chim alerted us that he plan to propose to Aimin during the holiday, we were so thrilled, I zoomed straight in to organise the itinerary and made sure the location was ideal for him to pop the question.

What Happened

We flew to Istanbul from Cappadocia in the morning of Aimin’s birthday. We then headed to our Airbnb accommodation separately and later met for lunch and booked the evening tickets for the Bosphorus Cruise. That’s where Chim will go down on his knees! On board the ferry, I somehow distracted Aimin by getting her to walk around the ferry, and taking photographs, while Rex had to find the most ideal spot for it to happen. We could feel Chim’s heart racing, on the other hand, Aimin was enjoying the cold breeze and scenery, still unsuspicious. As, the sun began to set, Rex suggested everyone to head to the upper deck for some photo taking. That was the cue for Chim. Rex got the both of them to pose for our camera, (but it was actually on video mode) while I was holding on to Aimin’s camera, all ready to capture the moment.

He got down on his knees and fast forward… it ended with a resounding ‘yes’!

Chim and Aimin, may the memory of all the little details not fade, and that you’ll never forget how excited and happy you felt that day. Thank you for making us part of this special occasion. Now that you are married, may your love shine brighter and your companionship grow richer with each passing day.
